The Saint Louis Palestine Solidarity Committee (STL-PSC) began organizing against Israeli Apartheid and the Israeli occupation in 2009 in response to the calls of Palestinian civil society for organized action against the Israeli Occupation of Palestine.
STL-PSC Mission Statement:
The Saint Louis Palestine Solidarity Committee is united in supporting the struggle for equal rights, freedom, and security for all peoples of historic Palestine. We welcome all groups and/or individuals who are committed to working towards this goal.
In light of Israel’s historic and ongoing displacement of and discriminatory Apartheid system against the Palestinian people, our goals demand that we, as people of conscience, work in concert with allies around the world in solidarity with Palestinian civil society to compel Israel to:
1. End its ongoing occupation and colonization of Palestinian lands and dismantle the Wall;
2. Recognize the fundamental rights of the Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel to full equality;
3. Respect, protect and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees to return to their homes and properties as stipulated in UN resolution 194.
To this end, we work to help implement the 2005 call by Palestinian civil society for Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) on Israel until it a) unconditionally recognizes the Palestinian people’s inalienable rights to freedom, equality, security, and self-determination, and b) is in full compliance with international law, as enumerated in the three points listed above. Furthermore, we join the chorus of voices rising throughout the world in demanding justice for Palestine.
